Wire Edm Machine Sourcing

Wire Edm Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for wire EDM inquiries. We do not operate a generator factory, keep warehouse inventory, or present supplier certificates as our own credentials. Manufacturing feasibility, installation quality and process validation remain with the named supplier and the buyer’s toolroom. We are not a brand-appointed reseller of any machine family named as a public reference.

Buyer responsibilities

Our role is to restate the buyer’s material, thickness, finish and utility data into a brief that more than one factory can answer on the same rows. Suitability of a quoted cycle time is not established by this website.
  1. Buyer responsibilities: Upstream

Provide drawings or a process description, material and heat-treatment state, thickness, start-hole pattern, quantity and destination. Include whether taper, submerged cutting and automatic threading must stay in the same work envelope. Missing data stays listed as open rather than filled with a typical shop value from another plant. Machine XYZ travels, workpiece mass, wire diameter, tank volume, connected load in kW and supply frequency in Hz are useful RFQ columns when you already know them.

  2. Control boundary

You own the decision to accept or reject a quote. We do not approve a catalog positioning tolerance as proof that your workpiece will thread and recover at that duty. The brief asks which sampling method, units and first-good definition the supplier will use on the buyer’s parts. Design cutting speed is a comparison parameter, not a saleable-output commitment.

  3. Downstream

Plant engineering owns foundations, three-phase supply, cooling water and dielectric makeup. The machine builder owns quoted feasibility. Your quality team owns inspection of the first production pieces after skim passes. After SAT, spare-parts ownership should be written; this desk does not store those assets.
